A push button igniter lights the burner on battery power, and the flame sensing valve shuts off gas if the flame goes out. It is offered in BTU ratings from 50K to 250K for natural gas or propane.

- Natural gas supply pressure: minimum 3.5" W.C., maximum 7.0" W.C. LP: minimum 8.0" W.C., maximum 11.0" W.C.
- Remote LP tank enclosures must meet HPC's venting requirements in the manual.
- HPC recommends installation by professionals licensed for gas piping. Modifying the product voids its certification and warranty.
Warranty: HPC warrants its fire pits against manufacturing defects that prevent safe and correct function: stainless steel burners, lifetime; electronics and gas valve, 3 years residential and 1 year commercial; pilot assembly, 2 years residential and 1 year commercial; stainless steel pan and valve box, 5 years residential and 1 year commercial. Coverage runs from the date of original sale or shipment from HPC and covers parts and HPC in-house labor through an HPC return authorization; installation and maintenance labor and damage from overheating, modification, abuse or improper storage are not covered.
