The HPC Fire Inspired Drum Smoker is an assembled stainless steel charcoal smoker built around HPC's patented Vortex air intake. Two adjustable, opposed intakes at the bottom create a rotating airflow that burns fuel evenly, and HPC rates it for up to 18 hours of cooking on a single bag of lump charcoal. The tall drum holds two racks for smoking several foods at once.
Key Features
- Vortex air intake: Two patented, opposed, tangential and adjustable air intakes spin the air through the fuel basket for even burning.
- Long cooks: HPC reports up to 18 hours on one bag of lump charcoal and says the design holds temperature better and uses fuel more slowly than competing smokers.
- Two-rack drum: A hook rack and a grill rack let you hang and lay food in the same cook.
- Temperature gauge: A gauge on the drum guides vent adjustments.
